Top Five Favorite Sources of News and Information

 Fox News

One of my favorite sources of news information is Fox News. I enjoy using Fox News because I know they use trustworthy sources when reporting or posting information on their news network or online via their social media sites. Since I also come from a conservative family, I have been watching Fox News since I was very young which has allowed me to certain types of political midset's points of view. One thing that I like about Fox News is that whenever they report an issue that conflicts with their political views, they will have someone on the opposing political spectrum come and speak about how they feel about the issue and how they see it. Overall I think that Fox News is a great source to receive daily news from and see it through the conservative mindset as well

BBC News

I really like using BBC News because it's not just political news, but world news instead. I also like how it is not strictly based in the United States which gives you a different perspective on how another country views the news and wants to present it to the world. When I look at their website I love how it offers you viewing to various different topics such as the Coronavirus, Climate Change, Business, Entertainment, and many more. As well as right away when you click on their website you are immediately welcomed by so many new entertaining topics to read about.

Youtube

What I really like about Youtube is that you get all your news and information from a video format versus articles. Articles are great and are a descriptive and detailed way to read about news, but sometimes reading the news isn't as exciting as watching the news. For example if there is something big going on in the world that affects everyone, such as the Coronavirus, it might be easy to watch a video about it versus reading an article. Videos can also be short and sweet such as watching a one minute video about the Coronavirus that gives you fast and lear information on how to stay safe instead of reading a long lengthy article about it. As well Youtube doesn't only just offer information on news and political issues, but it shows videos of all types such as tutiorals, vlogs, lifestyle videos, etc. And you're able to make your own content and post it there, which makes it available to anyone.

 Inside Edition News

Inside Edition News is definitely not the most popular source to receive information from, but it's always been one of my personal favorites. Similar to Youtube, Inside Edition is most known for their Youtube channel. Their Youtube channel often posts short videos, around 2-3 minutes on various different topics. Such as political news, world events, and news in popular culture. One of my personal favorite things about Inside Edition is that they broadcast events surrounding true crime. They're usually best at posting news about missing people and will tell you all the information about them in a quick two minute video. I like how they do this because most news sources I feel wouldn't deem it as "important," yet Inside Edition does and it makes them unique and different.

MSNBC News

I really enjoy using MSNBC to get my news and information because, similar to Fox News, it focuses on more political news and shows politics from a different point of view. When you first go on their website you are shown one of the most popular news article that is realvent at the current time. I really like how they do this because it tells someone that is just clicking on their site to read this article or watch this video because of its relevance on the home page. As well as it allows you to watch the news live from your laptop versus having to go to a television and turn them on.
